Ryan Stevenson hits the DC Concerts stage in our Virtual Venue on Wednesday, October 27th at 8:30 PM EST to perform songs from his latest EP "Weathering The Storm: The Music" Unlike a traditional concert performance, Ryan's bringing a special mix of music, stories & revival you'll not want to miss!
Along with his newest music, the "Weathering The Storm: The Tour" promises inspiring anecdotes and aspirational stories of redemption, salvation and survival through Jesus - sees Ryan weaving the highlights of his popular podcast "Weathering The Storm: The Podcast", and his leading the audience in worship and praise, all into one phenomenal performance.
When asked about the inspiration for "Weathering The Storm" Ryan shares, "What a crazy season it’s been as we’ve all had to weather some storms." He goes on to say,
"I’ve had some of these songs brewing for a long time and I’m so excited to finally give these songs their life and space. I pray these songs speak life and draw you to the Father's heart today!"
About it's predecessor, Eyeing the Storm:
"The Storm", both Eying and Weathering it, has become an overarching theme for Ryan Stevenson after his original song of the similar name, "Eye Of The Storm" became a #1 Billboard Christian Radio Single altering being released in July of 2016. The song held the top spot for 16 weeks, later becoming a RIAA Gold-certified hit, winning both a Billboard Music Award nomination and a GMA Dove Award!
Since then Ryan's first book, "Eye Of The Storm: Experiencing God When You Can't See Him" was published in 2020. Tasha Layton: Emerging Artist, Supporting Ryan on Tour
Ryan's special guest on the 27th will be Tasha Layton, supporting artist on Ryan's month-long "brick and tick," has a featured appearance on "Weathering The Storm: The Music" on the track "Through It All."
Tasha got her first exposure as a talent from her appearance on Season 9 on American Idol just over a decade ago in 2010 and subsequently hired as a backing vocalist for Katy Perry.
Tasha Layton's latest EP and single of the same name, "Look What You've Done" has been charting for 26 weeks on Billboard and currently peaking at #9 on the Christian Airplay chart.
